Logistics Fee $250
All successful applicants are required to pay a logistics fee. Once your application has been confirmed and your itinerary received by Amani, the logistics fee must be paid. If this is not done at the same time your dates are confirmed with us, your accommodations cannot be guaranteed for the dates of travel. Your transport to and from the airport will be covered in the logistics fee.
Program Fee
The rates for the program fee are as follows:
$30 Nightly Rate
$175 Weekly Rate
$550 Monthly Rate
Long term volunteers pay same as above for the first 3 months trial. The following months are at a reduced rate of $450 per month.

What is included in the program fee?
Amani can house up to 8 volunteers in the fully-furnished upstairs guesthouse at the babies’ home.
Bed and bath linens are provided, including a pillow
Full kitchen to prepare dinner
Mosquito nets
Hot showers (provided there is power and water!)
Two meals per day
A light breakfast is provided (fresh fruit, bread, eggs, sugar)
A cooked lunch (Ugandan fare)
Wireless Internet
Training - In country orientation
Supervision - In country staff supervision
You are not only giving of your time and service as a volunteer but your stay at the guest house helps provide financially for the home. All proceeds from the Amani Guest House are non refundable. They are used towards the running costs of the home; food, Ugandan salaries, electricity, water etc.

We recommend you allow a weekly budget of US $60 for your other expenses such as dinner, personal items, beverages, and entertainment. Obviously if you are choosing to go on excursions or souvenir shop etc. this budget would rise.
